Very good pub and delicious food

Delicious food and a wide variety of drinks not found anywhere else. The ambience of a British pub is of course incomparable in the region. Ordering and paying digitally is super quick and easy and, especially now, is even safer.

Authentic British pub in the heart of Ahaus. English beers such as Samuel Smith, Guiness, Hop House or Ginger Beard and of course typical dishes such as fish and chips or Scotch Egg exude British charm ...

A little tip: Your ERP doesn't seem to show a best-before date, the beer that was served to me expired six months ago. Fortunately, you don't make money with software, but with drinks and good service.

Interesting experience: a hotel that you can control completely with your mobile phone. From the entrance door to the lighting and the shutters. In the Irish Pub attached, orders and payments also take place via the same system. The hotel itself is very purist. I liked it. Tip: If you have problems logging in at the beginning, you can also contact the staff in the pub. That helps quickly and easily.

Absolutely wonderful! That was the most delicious meal I have had for a long time!

Well meant is not always good. What fascinates in the hotel at first when everything is digital to use, annoys in the pub and restaurant just! If the order placed does not come because the system is not working and the service is annoyed rather than friendly, it's no fun anymore. Sorry but the concept with as few staff and everything only digital, makes no sense to me.

Self order and pay

Prices in pounds .... ?? (I think we are here in Germany.) Artically silly payment system. You are already expensive and with a card even more expensive ... So what no one has to admit in this matter. We will go to a normal cafe.

Great location. Good food, huge selection of drinks, trained staff and classic ambience of an English pub. Best of all: live music every weekend! Thumbs up!

Chuck Plaisance was great and deserved more audience. This "living room concert" he has completed really brilliant! As always, the Unbrexit here in Ahaus offers great entertainment and a real feel-good atmosphere.

This was my first time in this pup and was amazed at the cozy atmosphere. My reason for the visit was a music event. What should not be missing in an original English pup, ... ... right, a Beatles cover band. I like to drive 90 kilometers for my friends of the band "The Querryman Beatles". They had their third gig in this venue. I would like to come back here.

If you’re looking for some place to hang out and experience something very British , this Pub is the place to be! This pub house, that was once a hotel, also serves authentic English food, the typical fish and chips is on top of the menu. This pub gets full on weekends, they serve real English beers and other drinks and you can listen to British songs played on the jukebox. If you got a British Passport you can come here and have a free beer daily!The only thing I don’t like here is the way you order, you need to load a card and place your orders like you do it yourself!..but they bring your orders fast! The prices of beers and other drinks are quite pricey. For a small city like Ahaus, this British pub called The Unbrexit is Home to Britons in Europe and will be the last English place remaining part of the EU!

Nice pub with a cumbersome payment and ordering system. A real English atmosphere and you can even be picked up with a real English taxi! (See the app). You must first put money on a special card through an employee and download an app. Via this app you can place the orders, after which you can pay via NFC on your phone and in the card. Handy for the regular customer, but as a single visitor you do not know how much to put on it and you are busy with it.

Very special

I mainly visited the place to see what this humorous comment on the British Brexit adventure is about. The place, based in the ground-floor of a former hotel, reminds me of a British chain pub, even the usual TVs with Sky premier league footy are on the walls. There is lots of space, a small stage for live bands, and a restaurant titled 221b offering British pub grub. The choice of ales is reasonable. And with a British passport you get beer for free! But if you order black tea, it's a fairly weak Lipton affair served without milk - this is Germany after all. Yorkshire tea would be more authentic. Payment is unusual as you need to upload cash money on a card via a terminal to order via separate touch screen terminals, or use a mobile app. The reason is that this is an investment by a local software company using the pub to test their payment system. It took a while for our bank notes to be accepted via the terminal. The mobile app is probably the easier option for regulars.
